World Hemophilia Day is an international observation held every year to raise the awareness for hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. The purpose of the celebration is to improve the lives of people with hemophilia and other generic bleeding disorders. Various campaigns, activities like blood donation camps, health check ups etc are conducted during the day.

World Hemophilia Day is started from the year of 1998 in honor of Frank Schnabel’s birthday, was founder of World Federation of Hemophilia in 1963.It is an international non-profit organization dedicated to improve the lives of people with hemophilia.
