Introduction:

World Environment Day is widely celebrated all around the world to enhance the awareness towards the nature and its tributaries. It urges the masses to come forward for the sake of the environment and required a combined public attention and action. The day was initiated by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972.

World Environment Day is held on 5th June every year

Description:

It is celebrated by different countries every year with a different theme related to various environment topics. The day is celebrated in as similar way as the celebration of Earth Day and the main objective of the occasion is to raise awareness of the importance of conserving biodiversity for mankind.
