Introduction:

Quit India movement is the remarkable and most important freedom movement among the struggle of India’s independence and every year it is commemorate by Quit India Day as the anniversary.Among celebrations various seminars and activities are observed in rememberance of the movement throughout the country.

Quit India Day is celebrated on 9th August every year

Description:

Quit India Movement was believed to be the final call for the East India Company, who ruled over India and was a turning point in India’s struggle for freedom.The movement was initiated by Father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, as he believed in Truth and violence and firmly believe the way of these two only ,therefore opted the way of Quit India movement to convey the message of independence,as only option before the British rulers.Almost the whole nation joined the movement and gave call against British and asked them to “Quit India”.
At quit India day,various function is held in schools where skits, speeches are observed includes the message and significance of the day. The entire nation fills with a sense of patriotism and pay tributes to martyrs of the freedom struggle.
