National Science Day is a particular day to commemorate the word done by our scientists and especially the invention of Prof. C.V.Raman’s the Raman effect. The day is observed on 28th of February every year in which various promotional programs are conducted by Ministry of Science and Technology of the country.

The Raman effect was the biggest achievement for the Indian Science and technology community, which was later honored with Nobel Prize, the first nobel for India. Several programs are organized focusing on various objectives and streams on this day in all over the country.Prominent institutes come forward for the celebrations with remarkable programs. Eminent scientists of the present day give seminars on the most happening subjects of the science. Science exhibitions are conducted by the students in schools.
