The Kailash Fair of Agra is the amalgamation of several cultural activities which held in the place Kailash at a distance of approx 12 Kms from the city Agra. The fair is held in reverence of Lord Shiva and all the devotees of Shiva from around the country come to the venue in the month of August or September for the participation. The fair is religious in its terms as the fair hosts high degree of devotion and belief for the Kailash deity, Shiva.

The legend says that Lord Shiva himself came to the sacred place of Kailash and his presence has emerged in the form of “lingam” that holds an immense faith among the devotees. The fair became the congregation of such thousands of people who believe that their wishes will surely be fulfilled by the God.
Like all the other fairs,the Kailash Fair boasts temporary shops of toys, foods, sweets,ornaments and many more things.
