Introduction:

Now a Days, Friendship Day is a popular day celebration among the people specially in the youngsters. The Day is celebrated in all over the world on first Sunday of August’s first week but during the recent years, it has gained more popularity in other Asian countires like India, Bangladesh  etc. The Friendship day is an occasion to honour the friends with lots of wishes, gifts and chocolates.

Description:

Every year Friendship Day is observed with great enthusiasm and excitement among the young generations . The day dates back to August 1st, 1935 which was originated by Joyce Hall who was also a founder of Hallmark Cards from USA to set up a tradition of dedicating a day in honour of friends. Gradually it began celebrated widely and gained popularity day by day. On this day people spend time with their friends and express love for them. Exchange of Friendship Day Gifts like flowers, cards and wrist bands is a popular tradition of this occasion.
