Introduction :

In India, The National Doctor’s Day is celebrated on 1st July every year. It is celebrtaed to honour the practises of Doctors and to tribute the great physician Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, who has also been the former chief minister of West Bengal state, as his birth date was July 1, 1882.

Doctors Day is celebrated on 1st of July every year in India.

Description :

Although Doctors day is celebrated all over the world but the celebrating dates are differ. The first Doctors Day observance was March 30, 1933 in Winder, Georgia.  Eudora Brown Almond, wife of Dr. Charles B. Almond, decided to set aside a day to honor physicians.
Doctors play an important role in the human society, he performs diagnosis and treatment. The day is observed to honor medical professional for their resolute contribution to the society. Hence a special day is observed as Doctors day to commemorate the services of Doctors and also as a thanksgiving day to them.
