Terrorism is the biggest matter of concern around the world. Various countries, organization and other institutions are working together to overcome the fear of terrorism. Anti Terrorism Day is an effort as in continuation by Government of India.

May-21 every year, death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi

Description:
 
The day is observed on May-21 on every year around the country which is a death anniversary of Late Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India. The purpose of the day is to generate awareness in the country among all sections of people, to let the people aware about the danger effects of violence and terrorism.
These objectives are aimed to be achieved by organizing debates or discussions in schools, colleges and universities, various seminars, lectures, on the dangers of terrorism and violence and a determined and sustained drive to bring about a mass awakening against terrorism and violence.
